Martial Arts give children a healthy dose of self esteem and respect, studies have shown. It has been observed that once children learn the game of martial arts, whether they are too shy or hyper, it builds confidence in them.
there are some reasons why children should be motivated to learn the game of martial arts. Martial arts make them more active.
Frequent participation in the game controls cases of obesity and over-weight in children. The game offers many benefits, but when it comes to fitness, becoming a true martial artist means becoming a supremely fit person.
Also, children learn to find focus and stillness. The game has a lot to do with focus; therefore, children who participate in it constantly begin to learn how to get focused.
However, part of the challenges parents face presently is that the children are constantly plugged in. While there are great benefits in the internet and video games, there are many more benefits in stillness and focus. Behind the punches, kicks, and knees, a true martial artist learns to sit with himself and see where his weaknesses are.
