The students of Lagooz College has again embarked on an
exclusive excursion to one of Nigeria’s top private universities – Lead City University, Ibadan on the 3rd of August, 2016.
The purpose of the excursion, according to the management of
Lagooz Schools, is “to inspire and guide students towards career choices”.
The students were welcomed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs)
Oyebola Ayeni, who took them round the campus after addressing them briefly at
the campus auditorium, in the Central Administration Building.
Meanwhile, the students of Lagooz College were very excited
to visit the Lead City Central Library. The fully-stocked library is equipped
with books which cuts across every discipline each student aspires to study in
the nearest future.
Another wow experience was at the Campus Radio (Lead City
89.1fm).

Olubanke favour, during the session advised students out there to read their books so as to be relevant in the 21st century, because education is the key.

According to Oloyede Bolaji, an SS2 pupil, “when I entered
the school, the atmosphere was cool, a lot of things fascinated me, most
especially the library, I’ll advise other students to come to this school
because this school (Lead City University) is my first choice of school” he
said.
Samuel David (SS2), added that “I was quite impressed by the
font design at the entrance of the Campus Radio studio”.
Meanwhile, Sunday Theresa (SS1) asserted thus; “one thing I
like about the school is that it is very conducive for learning, especially the
library. Inside the library, I saw different books I’ve never seen before in my
entire life….and also I like the way the environment is”.
Awe Moyosore (SS2) posits that “the excursion is really
worth it, when I got to the library, I saw books on what I want to study and I
said to myself that if it’s just to come here to read the books I think it’s
worth it”.

Onabajo Promise later narrated the following about Lagooz
Schools; “my school is cool, it’s nice and they teach very well. They don’t
just tell us things, we see it with our eyes especially in the science
laboratories. They show us how the chemicals is mixed".
Asifat Kaosara further adds that “my school is a good school
to come and learn, the teachers there are really good in teaching and
everything about Lagooz School is very cool such as the laboratories, the
libraries etc.
Lastly, Mr. Lawal, H.O.D Languages and Literature teacher concluded that “education is not just teaching academics, is also making someone strong in character and behavior”.
